Meet our new Quality Manager, Wil Berube
Wil Berube joined the Cosmotronic operation in October of 2009 as the new Quality Manager
Wil comes to Cosmotronic with a wealth of knowledge in the flexible and rigid-flex circuit fabrication business.
Wil has over 25 years of experience in the PCB industry. Prior to joining Cosmotronic Wil has spent most of the last 14 years in a quality role at some of the most respected flex and rigid-flex printed circuit board manufacturers in the country. He has held Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Manager positions. Wil has been trained in Lean Electronics Manufacturing in the Rockwell Collins model and has the opportunity to lead a cross functional team implementing lean manufacturing utilizing various tools and techniques. In his last position prior to joining Cosmotronic, Wil was Business Manager for a small southern California quick turn prototype manufacturer of turnkey flex and rigid-flex assemblies. With this experience Wil brings a unique understanding of what our customers and specifically our Contract Manufacturing customers need from a flex and rigidflex PCB manufacturer in today’s business environment.
Wil is very focused on "total customer satisfaction" and looks forward to working with Cosmotronic’s multiple customers and developing strong relationships with a focus on their unique needs. Don’t be surprised when you get a call from Wil wanting to know how Cosmotronic is doing for you and what suggestions you may have in ways that we can continuously improve our "Total Customer Satisfaction".
Wil’s initial efforts have been overseeing Cosmotronic’s recertification to AS9100:2004 and ISO 9001:2008. We are pleased to announce that Cosmotronic has achieved it’s recertification, which is valid through Oct 2012.
Wil has been tasked by Cosmotronic President, Bob Froehlich, who has had formal Lean methodologies training and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, with implementing a formal Lean Manufacturing Operating System beginning in early 2010.
The Cosmotronic lean system will be customer focused and driven so that our products are created and delivered in the right amounts, to the right locations, at the right time and in the right condition.
Cosmotronic’s lean system will allow for production of a wide variety of PCB technologies, efficient and rapid changeover among them as needed, efficient response to fluctuating demand and increased quality.

Updates Completed to the Cosmotronic Website
Bob Froehlich, President and General Manager, is pleased to announce that improvements to the Cosmotronic Website have now been completed.
The website has been a work in process for the past several months and a concerted effort has been made recently to implement a user friendly format. The website now includes more technical information that details Cosmotronic’s technical capabilities, including a Technology Roadmap, as well as product descriptions for our complete line of printed circuit board technologies. If interested, you can also find copies of this years quarterly newsletters, career opportunities at Cosmotronic, and other useful information about our facility and how we’ve developed for more than 40 years as a leading provider of high reliability circuit boards to the military marketplace.
